Little Goat and Little Rabbit grew up together. They were very close friends. One day, they went to a garden for a picnic. The garden was surrounded by large trees and full of beautiful flowers. Little Goat and Little Rabbit saw a colorful butterfly, and chased it around the garden. After a while, they grew tired and sat down to rest. Little Goat and Little Rabbit opened their picnic boxes and started to eat. Little Goat's picnic box was full of fresh lettuce. Little Rabbit's picnic box had an apple and a juicy carrot. After Little Rabbit finished his apple, he told Little Goat, "I am so sleepy. Let me take a nap. Please wake me up later. "Little Goat saw that Little Rabbit was fast asleep. He still felt hungry after eating his lettuce, so, he ate Little Rabbit's juicy carrot while Little Rabbit was asleep.

When Little Rabbit woke up, he discovered that his juicy carrot was missing. He asked Little Goat, "Little Goat, where is my carrot?" Little Goat scratched his head and said, "I thought you did not want to eat your carrot, so I ate it. "Little Rabbit said crossly, "That was my favorite food! I was saving the best for the last. How could you eat my juicy carrot without my permission? This is too much! "Little Rabbit went home angrily, and Little Goat went home sadly. Mama Goat saw that Little Goat was sad. So, she asked, "What happened?" Little Goat told Mama Goat that he ate Little Rabbit's juicy carrot without permission. Mama Goat said gently, "My dear, it is wrong to take someone else's things without their permission. I will prepare a basket of juicy carrots. Take the carrots to Little Rabbit's house tomorrow, and tell him that you are sorry for eating his carrot without his permission. "Little Goat nodded said, "Yes Mama, I will."

The next day, Little Goat took the basket of juicy carrots to Little Rabbit's house, and told Little Rabbit that he was sorry for eating his carrot. Little Rabbit smiled and said, "Because you are truly sorry, I forgive you."

　　小山羊和小白兔是一起長大的好朋友，有一次，他們去花園野餐，那裡有大樹圍繞，還有開滿了美麗的鮮花。他們看到一隻蝴蝶飛過去，就興奮地追逐蝴蝶。沒多久，兩個人就滿頭大汗坐下來休息，他們打開自己的野餐盒，開始吃點心。小山羊的野餐盒裝著的是新鮮的生菜，小白兔的餐盒則裝著紅蘿蔔和蘋果。小白兔把蘋果吃完後，就跟小山羊說：「我好累，要先睡一覺，等一下再叫我。」小山羊看小白兔睡著了，可是自己的肚子還很餓，就把小白兔的紅蘿蔔給吃掉了。

　　小白兔醒來後，發現紅蘿蔔不見了，不高興的問：「小山羊，我的紅蘿蔔為什麼不見了？」小山羊摸摸頭說：「我以為你不想吃，就把它吃掉了。」小白兔生氣地說：「那是我最喜歡的食物，我要留到最後才吃的，你居然沒有問過我就吃掉了，太過分了。」小白兔說完就直接回家了。小山羊沮喪的走回家，山羊媽媽看到小山羊不開心的樣子，就問：「孩子，發生什麼事了？」小山羊把事情的經過說了一遍，山羊媽媽說：「孩子，這件事是你做錯了，怎麼可以不經別人同意，就吃掉人家的東西，媽媽幫你準備紅蘿蔔，你明天帶去跟小白兔道歉。」小山羊說：「媽媽，我知道了。」

　　隔天，小山羊就帶了一籃的紅蘿蔔去跟小白兔道歉，這時候，小白兔才笑著說：「看你是真心道歉，我就原諒你了。」
