Instructor: Tsai Yi-jing

Introduction: The handkerchief dance is lively and playful, filled with passion and rhythm. It is easily creates a vibe. It is one of the common folk dances for festivals. The instructor will first explain the maintenance and storage of the handkerchief, before practicing basic body movements and eventually moving onto basic hand gestures, flower movements and basic steps, including the jump kicking step. After going through different movement combinations, the instructor will demonstrate the piece and give advice on the steps of teaching and performance venues.
