Introduction: The color guard originated from the army. The majestic flag dance is perfect for opening performance. The instructor first introduces basic hand gestures such as shan bang hands and downwind (shunfeng) flag pose, as well as basic steps such as the T-step before moving onto various flag movements. After explaining common combinations, the instructor demonstrates the piece of Victory Dance before providing key points on props, venues and formations.
