Introduction: Oil-paper umbrellas represent perfection and a large family in Hakka culture, and arabesque (tang grass) is a traditional decoration of vines which symbolizes prosperity. This episode adopts an 8-inch paper umbrella and uses an oil-based ballpoint pen to draw arabesque on the paper umbrella. The students first practice different patterns, flowers and vines on A4 paper. When drawing on a paper umbrella, you need to carefully stretch the surface of the umbrella and close it only after the paint is dry.
