Wind, Rain, and Snow were brothers. One day, they gathered together and started talking. They spoke of many things, and began to brag about themselves.

Rain was the first to speak. He said, “I just need to fall gently to make the whole world wet.” Wind replied, “Your power is nothing compared to mine. For I am the mightiest! I just need to puff gently, and all the grass, trees, and houses will be blown away.” Rain did not want to lose to his brother. So, he replied, “If I rained with all my might, I could make a catastrophic flood that would drown everything on earth and make mountains crumble, I could even…” Wind did not wait for his brother to finish speaking and said, “If I blew with all my might, I could send everything up to the sky, the world will be so dusty, you won’t be able to see a thing!”

Snow finally opened his mouth to speak, “The both of you are proud and arrogant. Because of that, you have destroyed everything on Earth. I am different. I love to sit on top of mountains, making the mountain tops white and beautiful. Many people travel a long way to come and see me, unlike the both of you, whom everybody dislikes. So tell me, am I not the greatest?”

風、雨、雪是三兄弟。有一天，三兄弟聚在一起聊天，聊著聊著，他們就開始各自誇耀自己的本事。

雨急得要誇耀自己的能力，就第一個開口說：「我根本不用花任何力氣，就可以輕易地讓整個大地到處濕答答的。」風聽完，不甘示弱地說：「你那一點能力算什麼，我才是最厲害的，我只要稍微吹一下，地上的草、樹木和房屋全部會被我吹得東倒西歪。」雨聽了，心裡很不服氣，馬上抗議說：「我要是拿出我的真本事，可是會造成大洪水的災難，不只把地上所有一切都淹沒，還可以造成山崩，還可以……。」風還沒聽完，已經氣呼呼地大聲說：「我只要用盡力氣一吹，什麼都會被我吹上天，世界一片灰濛濛，讓你們什麼都看不到。」

這時坐在一旁的雪終於開口說話：「就是因為你們的高傲和自大，世界上的所有萬物都被你們破壞光了。我跟你們可不一樣，我最喜歡待在高山山頂，一片白皚皚的，實在很美麗，很多人都專程到山上來看我的英姿，才不像你們常常被人們咒罵，你們說我是不是最了不起的呢！」
