欣逢雙十國慶，僑委會邀請享譽國際台灣舞鈴劇場前往美國及加拿大巡迴表演，該劇團在9月24日於明州的Minnetonka Theatre表演。舞鈴劇場以扯鈴基礎，伴隨著變幻莫測的聲光科技，融合了西方的表演藝術，展現出極具創新且令人耳目一新的視覺饗宴，因而聞名全球。在開演訊息公布之後，現場650座位，因門票索取非常踴躍，在極短的時間一掃而空。明州臺灣華語文中心(TCML-MN)借此難得機會，鼓勵學生踴躍前往觀賞，並與當地社團「明州中華文化服務中心」合作，在現場擺放攤位，另外有讓多名學生擔任志工，一起共襄盛舉，推廣這次演出活動！
明州華語文中心方主任以及多位老師跟助教在攤位上除了介紹明州華語文中心歷年來的教學成果、提供的課程以及申請當地獎學金機會之外，同時也配合舞鈴劇場的表演，在攤位擺放扯鈴，讓參與的貴賓能親手接觸這種自唐代流行且歷久彌新的童玩。除此之外，非常感謝芝加哥僑教中心主任雷棋從芝加哥遠道而來，準備200多份的小禮物，在明州華語文中心攤位上與參加的貴賓分享，其中原住民族頭飾、手工月曆 、手機架以及木質磁鐵非常受歡迎 ，讓參與的來賓可以接觸並了解台灣文化。
同時，多名明州臺灣華語文中心的學生也熱心參與，擔任義工，與主辦單位密切合作，熱心協助維持入場秩序，讓數百位來賓得以迅速就座，讓表演能夠準時並順利進行。
除此之外，十分感謝雷棋主任，在百忙之中，撥冗前來明州與來賓一起觀賞精彩節目。雷主任藉著與行政團隊、老師助教們、以及參與的學生交談，來了解明州臺灣華語文中心的發展，並且給予明州華語文中心許多寶貴的建議。
明州臺灣華語文中心十分感謝有這樣的機會，讓師生們走出教室， 與社區連結、跟參與來賓互動，這正是華語文中心的精神：以學習華語文為起點，希望創造一個連結文化與社區的終生學習大家庭。
To celebrate Taiwan’s National Day, the Taiwan Diabolo Dance Theatre brought its internationally acclaimed performance to Minnetonka Theatre on September 24. All 650 seats were quickly filled, showing strong community interest in the performance.
TCML-MN joined the event in partnership with the Chinese Culture Center. Director Pei-Wen Fang, teachers, and teaching assistants introduced TCML-MN’s Mandarin programs and Taiwan scholarship opportunities at the booth. Guests could also try diabolo and learn more about this traditional Taiwanese cultural activity.
Director Lei from the OCAC Chicago Office joined the event and brought more than 200 Taiwanese cultural gifts to share with visitors. Several TCML-MN students also volunteered, helping the organizers welcome guests and manage the entrance so the performance could begin smoothly.
For TCML-MN, this was a wonderful opportunity for students and teachers to step outside the classroom, connect with the local community, and share Taiwanese culture. Through Mandarin learning, TCML-MN hopes to build a lifelong learning community that connects language, culture, and people.

明州中華文化服務中心邀請華語文中心的學生們在表演會場擔任義工，讓學生參與當地社團的服務，使當天的表演順利進行！The Minnesota Chinese Cultural Services Center invited TCML-MN students to volunteer at the event, giving them an opportunity to serve the local community and help make the performances run smoothly.
表演中場，許多觀眾來到 TCML-MN 攤位，領取由僑委會準備的兩百多份精美小禮物。TCML-MN 助教也帶領大朋友、小朋友一起體驗扯鈴，在歡樂互動中認識臺灣文化。During a break between performances, many visitors stopped by the TCML-MN booth to choose one of more than 200 special gifts prepared by Taiwan’s Overseas Community Affairs Council. TCML-MN invited participants to try diabolo and experience a fun part of Taiwanese culture.
TCML-MN 特地準備扯鈴，讓大小來賓在中場休息時，可以體驗扯鈴，大家玩得不亦樂乎。 TCML-MN prepared diabolo for guests of all ages to try during the break. Everyone had a great time learning and playing together.
